Dr. Shawna Collier, M.D., is a board-certified Ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and comprehensive eye care. She earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed her internship at Health One-Presbyterian St. Luke’s before completing her Ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Collier joined Oregon Trail Eye Center in 2007.

Dr. Collier joined Oregon Trail Eye Center in 2007. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine. She interned at Health One-Presbyterian St. Luke’s in Denver, Colorado, before completing her residency training in Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and serving on the Resident Training Committee.
Currently, Dr. Collier sees patients and performs surgeries at our home clinic and surgery center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She also travels to see patients and performs surgeries at our Valentine, Ainsworth, Ogallala, and Grant, Nebraska satellite locations.

Very patiently explained- the process from this point forward and knowledgeable about all of my eye issues. Also spent time explaining possible medication effects post surgery.
