Dr. Shawna Collier, M.D., is a board-certified Ophthalmologist, specializing in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and comprehensive eye care.
Dr. Collier joined Oregon Trail Eye Center in 2007. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine. She interned at Health One-Presbyterian St. Luke’s in Denver, Colorado, before completing her residency training in Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and serving on the Resident Training Committee.
Currently, Dr. Collier sees patients and performs surgeries at our home clinic and surgery center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She also travels to see patients and performs surgeries at our Valentine, Ainsworth, Ogallala, and Grant, Nebraska satellite locations.

I've met hundreds of doctors in my almost eighty nine years. I spent 9 years as a public member on a third district, California medical board that held hearings on doctors and recommended penalties. Doctor call. Doctors Collier is one of the most professional, knowledgeable and friendly doctors. I have met in my life. You are extremely lucky to have her on your staff.
Dr. Collier took the time to explain my condition to me in detail as well as the recommended treatment.
My experience with Dr. Collier was outstanding! I could not be more satisfied with her surgery on the cataract in my left eye on 9-17-26. Thank you Doctor!
