Dr. Shawn H. Zimberg, M.D., is a renowned leader in radiation oncology with over 25 years of experience in strategic business development, clinical optimization, and management of multi-site oncology practices. He has been instrumental in advancing the field, notably pioneering the Bioprotect balloon rectal spacer, and is the only physician in the U.S. to have performed over 500 procedures using this technology.
As a founding partner of Integrated Medical Professionals, PLLC, a Solaris Health affiliate, Dr. Zimberg has served as a board member and Medical Director of the Advanced Radiation Centers of New York (ARC) since 2006. Under his leadership, ARC has grown into the largest freestanding radiation oncology practice in the Metro New York Tri-State Region. The practice now supports oncology facilities nationwide with its comprehensive infrastructure, including physics, dosimetry, and IT services.
Dr. Zimberg’s career has been marked by his involvement in deploying cutting-edge radiation oncology technologies for treating breast, brain, lung, head and neck, and prostate cancers.
