After a full knee replacement surgery, I went back to Dr. Hocker several time concerned about the swelling in my knee. Hocker reassured me everything looked fine month after month. Then some fluid was removed after I requested it because I was concerned it was infected. No follow up call or message. Fast forward 2 and a half years later my knee is still bothering me constantly swollen. I went up to Duke and am told the knee is severely infected. I am now scheduled to have the knee completely redone at Duke from the start they have listened to my concerns followed up and worked with me to get this resolved.

Dr. Hocker took his time and helped me with pain during my recovery. He listens well to his patients!
All he has to do is look at my X-ray and he knows who is in the exam room. 😊
