Dr. Shawn Hocker, M.D. practices in Wilmington at 3787 Shipyard Boulevard, in Brunswick Forest at 1168 East Cutlar Crossing in Leland and will soon offer office hours at our new location in Burgaw. Dr. Hocker is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and is dual fellowship trained in adult joint reconstruction and sports medicine. He completed his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his residency in orthopedic surgery from Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. He then finished his surgical training with a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction and sports medicine from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Dr. Hocker holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine.

Great Doctor!! He went over my MRI results with me and explained everything that was going on with my Shoulder, and I feel really comfortable with scheduling my shoulder replacement with Dr. Hocker.💯💯💯🙏

DR Hocker has done two knee replacements and two hip replacements for me. He is always very friendly, and makes you feel very comfortable . He answers all the questions you may have no matter how long it takes. I trust him more than any other DR I have ever had. I have never had any problems with any of my replacements and have exceeded all expectations with each one of them. I always know I’m in good hands with DR Hocker,
