Very professional and a great bedside manners
Easy to talk to and communicate with
Excellent again!
No introduction, no do’s and don’ts. Gave diagnosis, prescribed meds and spoke about other treatments but left without saying if, when or who concerning other treatments.
Very thorough. He replaced my right hip 2 years ago and chose him to do my right hip yesterday.
Shawn is always professional. I don’t normally feel comfortable around doctors but with Shawn I do. The thing I respect most about him is that he’s honest about weight/lifestyle concerns. Doesn’t sugarcoat anything but seems like its coming from true concern.
Only looked at x-rays and did not even look at my knee. Based on x-rays prescribed 6 day steroid pack. When I express concern due to my other medical conditions, he didn't want to hear anything I wanted to say. I filled the prescription and read the two info sheets provided by pharmacist and in the medication box. One said "care" and the other said "caution" should be used before prescribing steroid in case of diverticulitis or intestinal bleeding. I have been hospitalized at least six times for diverticulitis, that is admitted to the hospital, and doesn't count emergency room or urgent care visits. I have had a bowel resection due to diverticulitis and one month later had another diverticulitis episode resulting in a 10 day hospitalization. I have also had multiple episodes of intestinal bleeding. I am 90% sure that if I had followed Dr. Hocker's advice I would have ended up in the hospital again. He is 1 of 2 doctors in my life that will cause me to change medical practices
Dude has got it going on!!!!!!¹Highly recommend!!
Thank you for your explanations and patience to help me understand what was occurring with my knees.
Very pleasant, addressed all concerns, & provided a solution.
