Dr. Rush has a special interest in Foot and Ankle Reconstruction, foot and ankle trauma, fracture care, sports injuries, cartilage repair techniques, arthroscopy, and ankle Joint replacement. Dr. Rush has been involved in ongoing clinical research and has contributed to several Foot and Ankle Surgical textbooks and has published 32 peer reviewed research articles. In 2009, Dr. Rush received international recognition for the first publication of stem cell bone grafting for lower extremity limb salvage.
Dr Rush grew up playing sports which continued in college. Being an athlete and maintaining a fitness-oriented lifestyle Dr Rush understands and remains focused on sports injures and how to better treat his patients as new techniques and technologies emerge.

I had an excellent experience with my ankle surgeon. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, kind, and truly attentive to my needs. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. The surgery itself was completed in a very timely manner, and his efficiency did not take away from the quality of care—everything was handled with precision and professionalism. His skill and expertise were evident, and I’m incredibly grateful for the positive outcome. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of an ankle specialist who is not only quick and capable, but also genuinely cares about their patients.

Dr Rush is always professional, but at the same time he’s very caring.
Dr rush and his team are consummate professionals and you would be mistaken going to any other surgeon. In and out in a timely manner every appointment. I couldn’t walk, sit or sleep prior to meeting with Dr rush. I was in pain everyday for months. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have ended up on his operating table. Thank you Dr rush.

Very good place if you have a problem with ankle, foot 🦶 doesn’t matter this office will fix you up and do it right the frist time
Dr Rush took the time to really listen to me and asked several clarifying questions to gain better understanding of where the pain in my ankle was coming from. He came up with plan A and plan B steps to help resolve the issue. Ankle is now feeling better. Big thanks! -John
