Shane Robinson, D.O., FACOP

Dr. Shane Robinson, D.O., FACOP's passion for working with children began when he spent time volunteering in a pediatric emergency room where his interest in the diagnosis progress led him to prolong his volunteer shift until the early hours of the following morning. Dr. Robinson feels that working with families to maximize their child's health potential is an honor and, in ode to the children's film Madagascar, he describes the pediatric specialty as "the fun side of the island."

Dr. Robinson is board-certified by the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians and has been caring for children for more than 10 years. Dr. Robinson received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, before completing a pediatrics internship at Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach and two pediatric residencies, first at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee and then at Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Florida.

Dr. Robinson approaches pediatric health care holistically with an emphasis on collaboration between himself and patients' families. He specializes in pediatric care, wellness care, preventive medicine, sick child care, sports physicals, and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.

When he is not caring for patients, you will likely find Dr. Robinson outdoors partaking in activities such as fishing, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, and hunting. He also enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with his wife, daughter and son.
