Over the course of his career, Dr. Pak has performed more than 3000 spinal surgeries as well as being prominent in the research of new technologies for spinal surgery. He has been invited to present his work at numerous national and international conferences. He is the co-inventor of a brand-new spinal navigation technology that is revolutionizing the spinal surgery field.
Dr. Pak has served as the consulting spinal surgeon for the NFL Baltimore Ravens as well as the back specialist of choice for multiple prominent national musical acts and rock bands.
Dr. Pak earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of medicine. He completed spine fellowship training in Chicago as the last fellow for Ronald Dewald – the legendary spinal surgeon with the first spinal fellowship in the United States as well as simultaneously being in the first class of the new Chicago Spine Fellowship – currently regarded as one of the most prestigious spine surgery fellowships in the United States. Following fellowship, he practiced at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland then moved his practice to the Los Angeles area until recently accepting the offer to bring his expertise in primary and revision minimally invasive and complex spinal surgery to Las Vegas.
He has served as Chairman of Orthopaedics as well as Chairman of Surgery at San Gabriel Valley Medical Center in San Gabriel, California.
