I really liked Dr. Assadnia. I've only had my first consult, but for such a scary seeming topic, I left feeling a good deal more educated and significantly more at ease. I immediately could tell I was in good hands, Dr Assadnia has a calming presence for me. Sometimes you just know.
I also totally loved my nurse Ashley, and the front desk was an absolute treat. The office is nicely appointed to fit the season, and the whole experience really just made me feel like they care, and I'm safe. It's hard to put into words. Anyway, top marks from me from start to finish. I like this crew a lot.

Dr. Shahin Assadnia, M.D., came to the United States as a child from Persia. He always knew he would go into healthcare. Both his grandfather and father were in the medical field, and his father often took him into the operating rooms with him to watch procedures. After graduating from college, he got a job in Knoxville, Tennessee with Premier Surgical. While there, he and his wife fell in love with the scenery and down-home feel and decided to stay. He strived to start his own practice where he could concentrate on vascular and general surgery. Since Morristown did not have a vascular surgeon, he decided to build his office here. He wanted to offer patients the ability to be treated locally without having to travel to larger cities. With the opening of his practice, he is able to spend quality time with his patients to make them feel comfortable with their care. He loves the challenging and complexity of being a vascular surgeon. He finds his job rewarding when he sees his patients thrive and ultimately have a better quality of life due to having a procedure performed by him.
