Dr. Ahmad's research interests are peri-operative pain management and clinical outcomes for patients undergoing different types of open and minimally-invasive spine procedures. He has published over 25 articles in some of the most impactful international journals in spine and cranial surgery, as well as authored textbook chapters in a number of neurology and neurosurgery textbooks, such Youmans Neurological Surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.

I was very pleased with my visit. He was very thorough, listening and asking questions and did not push surgery even though he is an excellent surgeon. Spoke of other options available to me and was very professional and it was obvious he cared about me. Just how a doctor should be. He even actually explained things in terms on my mental level.
