I am rating the nurse who gives me monthly shots to grow new bone. I have only seen Dr. Shahouri once. I prefer seeing his PA.

He asked questions, listened to what I said. He had answers and a plan. I felt he was extremely thorough on every aspect of all we had talked about. I feel really good about my future now.

I get monthly injections and the nurses are great! Reception is efficient and kind. However, billing has messed up a couple of times. My gastroenterologist office has an advocate to help get into reduced cost or trial programs. My treatment for Evenity is costing as much as new car payments and really hurts my fixed income budget.
Dr. Shahouri received his medical degree in 1998 from the American University of Beirut, one of the leading medical centers in Lebanon. Subsequently he moved to Wichita, Kansas where he completed a one year Family Practice residency followed by a three year Internal Medicine residency at the University of Kansas. After receiving his board certification in Internal Medicine, Dr. Shahouri completed a two year fellowship in Rheumatology at The University of Kansas in Kansas City. Having enjoyed the six years he lived in Kansas, Dr. Shahouri felt confident in his decision to serve the medical community in and around Wichita.
Dr. Shahouri not only gained cutting edge experience in the treatment of rheumatic diseases but also participated in advanced clinical research and acquired extensive experience in diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Dr. Shahouri came to ARCK with four specific goals for his medical practice:
Provide state of the art medical care for patients with arthritic conditions Assist community members who are medically underserved Participate in clinical research to advance the understanding of rheumatic disease Prepare the future generation of Kansas physicians by teaching residents and medical students as a volunteer faculty member of the University of Kansas in Wichita
