At the same time he completed a one-year course in data science for health care providers at the USF Muma College of Business and Florida Blue.
Dr. Falasiri revitalized and reinstituted the USF Urology Interest Group during medical school. In that role he created pipelines to provide clinical and basic science research opportunities to USF medical students interested in urology, and provided guidance and mentorship.
Dr. Falasiri was a member of the Robert A. Good Honor Society and served as a Business Scholarly Concentration Student Leader for four years. In 2017 he received the Scholarly Concentrations Program Summer Scholarly Award. He also was a member of the College of Medicine Allocation Committee.
Dr. Falasiri has devoted years to research in computational genomics, urologic oncology, and interventional cardiology. His work has been published in numerous prestigious publications and he has presented his research at numerous urology conferences.
