This doctor is not very personable. I felt rushed and that he didn't care about my situation. I was told my issues were the result of weight 3 times in one visit. Maybe he was tired at the end of day. The physical therapist who was shadowing seemed nice, even in his silence. Medication and physical therapy were pushed, but ultimately back surgery possibly.

As a physician Dr. Yi is quite competent but I did not feel a personal connection with him.

This “Dr”!was incredibly dismissive and cold. He came into the room talking super fast and not allowing me to talk at all, until he asked if I had any questions. He tells my 11 yr old daughter that “you just need to start walking on her (broken) foot! Then I TRY to interject that she can’t bc it’s still very painful. He repeats himself and starts to get up to walk out of the room! I’ve NEVER been brought to tears and at a loss for words , until this appointment with this dr.

The best doctor and the best staff I met

Dr Yi was fantastic, he went over my dislocated shoulder injury and explained everything so I could understand the injury, Dr Yi told me of the different ways to tackle the injury and which treatment would best suit me. It’s always nice to have a good feeling about your doctor and feel confident that he will help me get through whatever it takes to get me back to doing the important things in life.

Came today to get my knee looked at he gave me great service and covered another doctor that was out. Doctor Yi did my shoulder surgery a year and a half ago and I will only trust him now.

He might be very nice but the scheduling people didn’t seem like they could tell me I wouldn’t be seeing him for my heel pain and that I would have to schedule with someone else since he doesn’t see that issue. My visit was post op for knee surgery. I was attended to by his NP Johanneson and he was helpful. I barely had any communication with Dr. Yi that day. I think that is unfortunate. I know he is busy but his lack of “interest” in patient face to face conversation needs work

Wonderful doctor who took a needed appointment and solved my wife’s problem

Doctor Yi doesn’t play around. He takes care of business, making sure that I get the care that I need as soon as possible. He follows a course of known treatments, and continually takes progressive action until my issues are resolved. He is a “no nonsense” surgeon. He “cuts to the chase” and takes care of the issues. he has an excellent reputation for practicing high-quality medicine. He had such a great concern for my surgery, that he canceled a conference that he was planning to attend, so that I could be cared for.

Slow down and explain! The avg. Person doesn't know a patella, meniscus or MCL from peanut butter!

Dr Yi is a very rude physician, my daughter is in competitive dance & AF JROTC … she had reasonable questions about her swollen & painful knee & was told rudely & with judgement that she should see a specialist about her knee … Dr Yi IS supposed to be the expert orthopedic specialist… that is why we pulled her out of school early specifically to come see him … urgent care had stated that the knee may need to be drained… we left STILL not knowing if any procedure needed to be performed on the knee … sadly we left the “expert” without having the answers that we were seeking As a mother worried about my child’s future mobility for life and the aforementioned activities, I was very disappointed

My first visit to see him. He didn’t talk much and didn’t ask any in-depth questions. He did look at previous records of procedure had in 2021 which impressed me. I saw the PA and he looked at the X-rays for two seconds and told us that he doesn't do pediatrics and to go to a pediatric ortho. Big waste of time. If you don't do pediatrics the appointment should've never been made.

Not to much help for me. Very quick on the visit and the referral that he give me do not accept my insurance. So can not tell me why I have a lot of pain in my hips and legs and just do not give me any hope to get better. I have the right to have a life no an existan. I am at ground 0 again. Front desk was good help me w wheel chair but rip my copy’s of the test instead of take staples off so I lost some words in the papers.

Dr Yee operated on my right rotator cuff I was very pleased with the results . 6 years later I found out I needed surgery on my left rotator cuff without any hesitation I knew that I wanted Dr Yi to perform the surgery.p

I experienced Dr. Yi as very skilled, patient-centered, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Dr. Yi. A bit of advice. Don't use the words "fat" when describing yourself to patients. Also, Don't compare your age/lack of activity with your patients. If you can't have empathy for the healthy/active lifestyles they choose to live then perhaps you may want to consider a different profession. Mocking your patients is also disrespectful. Also pointing out their age and laughing at their active goals is disrespectful as well. I'm sure you are very knowledgeable, but the behavior you displayed in my appointment with me today leads me to think otherwise.

Now that I'm having new issues I knew that I would go back to him because I trust him completely. Doctor gave options which was great but seemed very rushed like needed to get to next patient. I am sure doctors are extremely busy but my time is valuable as well. I was seen after my scheduled appointment time and was concerned about needing to get to work. Then when I saw the doctor but not for that much time felt like my time was not respected.

Dr Yi did our 17 yr old daughters ACL surgery last summer. Today was her last check up and she comment that she will miss seeing him. He always spends time with her and answers all her questions! There is also a very short wait time to be seen. Super surgeon!!

I know I’m fat, don’t need to be told. I’m morbidly obese at least four times and that my meticus is so torn that surgery with two holes put on sight of my knee could mess it up more or most liikely not fix it. I’ve been to this clinic at least four times. They told me first appointment I was wanting to wait to see a doctor not a PA, So now I guess I’ve been just making it worst waiting for this now I’ve waited four times to finely hear this, you’ll probably end up in a wheel chair because yet again I am to morbidly obese to do anything. Felt like crap after just loosing 75lbs in past year, the PA said it was barely torn, it could be fixed. Now after a few months of pure pain I get told he doubts it could be repaired if need a whole knee I’m to obese to do surgery on.
