Dr. Serrie Lico, M.D. graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and returned to New York for his postgraduate resident and fellowship training at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, and Northwell Health – Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park.
He is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon, and a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Surgery, and American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He’s worked in some of the leading hospitals in the country and joined Nevada Heart and Vascular from the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio.
He has extensive experience with cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including off-pump coronary bypass, mitral and aortic valve repair and replacement, aortic aneurysm repair, maze procedure for AFib, lung cancer resection, and carotid endarterectomy.
