She grew up in Turkey and came to the United States to pursue medical training, completing her internship and internal medicine residency in New York City. Dr. Kihtir went on to finish her anesthesiology residency at both New York University and Case Western Reserve University, followed by advanced training in pain management.

For over 20 years, Dr. Kihtir has dedicated her career to helping patients manage and overcome chronic pain. She joins iSpine from United Pain Center, where she cared for patients for 15 years.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kihtir enjoys traveling, sailing, photography, and spending time with family and friends. She is also an animal lover, with two Siamese cats.

I have been a pt of Dr. Kitir’s for over 10 years, at iSpine and a previous clinic. I have been pleased with my treatment from her at both clinics. She is a competent Doctor and also interested in how the treatment she is providing for me affects my life. I highly recommend her as a pain Doctor/Provider.
