Dr. Heron resides in the St. Pete area with his wife and 3 children, is active in his church and in his spare time enjoys golf, family activities and is an avid Ohio State “Buckeye” fan.
He is an active urologist at our offices in St Petersburg, FL.
Dr. Heron was 1 of the original investigators for Urolift and has been doing this procedure since it became available in the state of Florida. He received most of his tutelage under Dr George Cooner, who did much to revolutionize the diagnosis of prostate cancer for which he was given a special recommendation by the American board of Urology.

Timely appointment and good care
Dr. Heron is an exceptional urologist. We so enjoy his friendliness, sense of humor, and expertise in his field. My husband and I would not go anywhere else for urological issues. We so appreciate that he either sees us on time when our appointment is and sometimes even earlier. That makes such a difference. We do not look forward to the time when he retires!! We really appreciate you Dr. Heron!! All the best to you!
