My husband and I have been going to Dr. Bak and we think he is fantastic. We’ve had shoulder surgeries and been very pleased with the results. He certainly is knowledgeable, personable, and spent time with us explaining the problem and what the treatment will be. We wouldn’t go to anyone else!!

You know you have very little time to discuss your progress/concerns/questions and have to prep before he enters to ensure you are ready and can be efficient. Dr. Bak is a bit over enthusiastic with the expected outcome of a procedure. His light-hearted description of what to expect from your recovery does not seem to match reality. I do recommend him for the skill he possesses and his caring nature.

Dr. Bak was thorough, reviewed xrays with me to provide clear explanations of both my shoulder and knee condition. He recommended more testing and PT. I was concerned that a surgeon may recommend surgery by default, but that was not the case and I felt confident that he suggested the best course of action.

Dr. Bak did my knee surgery four years ago so when I tore my rotator cuff in my left shoulder, I contacted him immediately and was seen very quickly. He sent me to have an MRI and prescribed physical Therapy to begin immediately. I like how he laid out some of the possible options I might have for surgical repair and physical therapy or just physical therapy alone. I really liked his conservative game plan. He is a very good listener and took everything into consideration especially my age.

I went to another facility and got a Cortizone shot (which was guided via an ultra sound) and had no relief, thankfully I found dr Bak he gave me a cortizone shot in the office and finally have some relief he is giving me options when I was told from another doctor their was nothing he could do!!!!
