I cannot rate someone I've never even met! All three of my appts have been tests ran by Drs assistant. I have a phone appt coming up with Dr. Zager next. Which means I still have not spoken or seen my doctor.

Dr. Zager is diligent in finding the right medications to adjust my bp within a normal range, while not causing other complications, like kidney function or potassium levels. His MA, Halle, is on the ball in dealing with my prescriptions and the hoops my insurance require too.

He served for many years as the Medical Director of the Coronary Care Unit at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard and is currently the Chairman of the Department of Medicine. Dr. Zager practices general and invasive Cardiology and is Board Certified in the field of Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Zager is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized, and state of the art care to his patients. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is a avid skier and loves to travel.
