My husband had really messed up a finger last year and Dr. Wein had to get the infection out of the finger and stitch what little bit of skin that was left on his finger. He did an excellent job and was so patient and kind. It was obvious that he cared. So I went in today to see what was going on with my hands and if there was anything that could be done to slow the progression of what is arthritis. He gave me some great ideas to make it easier to live with. It was all great information. My husband also went in today and we found out he had two trigger fingers and Dr. Wein gave him two shots. He is VERY NICE and listens well to his patients. Very grateful to have found him. BIG THANK YOU to Dr. Wein!!

Dr. Scott Wein, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who is also fellowship trained in hand and upper extremity surgery. Dr. Wein attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Medical School. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Virginia Health System. Following residency, Dr. Wein obtained additional training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. In his free time, he enjoys bicycling, fishing, kayaking, and golf, as well as spending time with his wife and two daughters. Dr. Wein joined Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in August 2008.
