Dr. Scott Wein is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who is also fellowship trained in hand and upper extremity surgery. Dr. Wein attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Medical School. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Virginia Health System. Following residency, Dr. Wein obtained additional training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. In his free time, he enjoys bicycling, fishing, kayaking, and golf, as well as spending time with his wife and two daughters. Dr. Wein joined Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in August 2008.

Dr. Wein is an extremely experienced & knowledgable hand specialist and fantastic surgeon and has put together one of the best orthopedic care teams located in a fabulous facility. Could not be more pleased with the outcome of my arthritis treatment & rehab path.

Dr Wein is professional, patient, knowledgeable and a great listener. He and I talked about my issues, it made me feel like I was part of the decision making of my treatment! I felt very comfortable at the end of the session.
He took caution to order EMG before recommending Catpap Tunnel Release surgery. Surgery was done under local vs being out which I would do if needed to have the other wrist done!
