Dr. Scott Wein is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who is also fellowship trained in hand and upper extremity surgery. Dr. Wein attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Medical School. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Virginia Health System. Following residency, Dr. Wein obtained additional training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. In his free time, he enjoys bicycling, fishing, kayaking, and golf, as well as spending time with his wife and two daughters. Dr. Wein joined Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in August 2008.

Within 24hrs of injury we got scheduled for surgery with all preop items completed. Dr. Wein and his staff are excellent and appreciate all they have doing for us!
Very pleasant demeanor and explained everything in sufficient detail.
Dr Wein is caring and professional. He removed a ganglion cyst about 12 years ago and a mucus cyst this week. Great surgeon !!!!

Dr. Wein was very kind and patient during the procedure as I chose to have a local and felt some pain. he immediately stopped and had the nurse give me more numbing medicine.He and the staff continually asked how I was doing.
