Scott Smith, D.P.M.

Dr. Scott D. Smith is a board-certified foot surgeon with specialized training from the Microneurovascular and Operative Endoscopy Institute and in the Arthroscopic Surgery of the Foot and Ankle, Rearfoot Reconstructive Skills Course.

He is a graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He completed surgical residencies at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach and HealthSouth Green River in Seattle. He is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He has completed extensive postgraduate training in laser surgery, endoscopy, and advanced trauma care.

He is affiliated with the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and Monterey Peninsula Surgery Centers. He is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and is on the Advisory Board of Community Hospital, Outpatient Diabetic Education Program.

His outside interests include stand-up comedy and spending time with his family. Dr. Smith grew up in the Monterey Peninsula, played baseball at and attended Carmel High School.
