Appointment seemed confrontational. Dr. Newcomb tried to provide advice about how I could work with my injury without actually asking about my job duties. I told him my job title and he made lots of assumptions, up to including that I could do the job "without my arms and legs," which did not really lead the conversation in the right direction. I think I would have come to a much better set of strategies for dealing with my injury if there was more back and forth, rather than insistence on how I should do my job.
