Dr. Nemic patiently explained what caused the ankle to become twisted a quarter turn. Dr. Nemec would not take the bait when suggested that our local surgeon was less capable. Dr Nemic waited until all our concerns were answered. After the visit, we had one more question about getting the insion wet. The nurse promptly found Dr Nemic to address our concerns and we found our answers after staples were removed. This is High Qualtly care! Thank You Bay Steet Orthopedics

Dr Nemec was amazing. He listened, reviewed notes, X-rays and gave me his own option and honest option. I’ve seen many specialist, going to U of M and traveling out of state for multiple occasions with our children and Dr Nemec is one of my favorites. He wants to do what’s best for you, and only you. This is a doctor who cares and does the right thing. He definitely is one to consider when you need a good, knowledgeable Complex Foot and Ankle Surgery Orthopedic. The staff are so wonderful and friendly. They remember me when I come in. The office is cozy and the waiting room is so fun to sit in. The sofas and comfy chairs are much inviting then many other offices with uncomfortable traditional chairs and decor.

He’s a good doctor and a good surgeon

After one visit so far I have no issues with the doctor. I have a problem with showing up 20 minutes before appointment time filling out paperwork then not seeing the doctor for almost 1 1/2 hours after my appointment time. My time is money as much as staff so I would like to ask who is going to repay me doctors pay for my time wasted. And this is a past practical with this office from previous experience.

I had to wait a long time before I got in to see him and I was there on time

I was given all the options to improving my knee pain without being steered to any one of them. We were able to agree on a treatment plan that so far is working.

The visit with Dr. Nemec was very good, the wait of 50 minutes in the waiting room was stressful.

I was seen over an hour late from my appt time and no one gave any indication of why the delay. The Dr spent about 3 minutes with me.

Very professional, advice and manner of delivery exhibited knowledge of the subject ie my ankles. I will follow up with him.

I’m very satisfied & confident with Dr Nemec. Would recommend him to anyone. However the 40 minute delay from appointment time to actually having him come in the room is very irritating ( not the first time either ) Could understand if it were a late afternoon appointment - not an early morning appointment. Don’t consider myself a complainer but my time is valuable too. Thanks for the opportunity to share my thoughts.

I spent less than 5 minutes with him, and I don’t think we ever made eye contact. He grabbed my hurt foot and began to twist it around before asking me what makes it hurt while I gasped and told him everything he was doing was painful and to please stop. He told me to schedule an MRI without explaining why or anything about what an MRI is like. Did not give me time or opportunity to ask questions and also threw medical jargon words out to the girl typing notes without explaining a single thing to me. I cried after this appointment. I was looking forward to it and excited to get answers but instead I left feeling frustrated, hurt, and uncomfortable.

He takes time to talk to me and explain my situation. He has a great reputation for the surgery that he does. I feel safe with him doing my surgery.

The staff was fine. But the wait was awful! My appointment was at 10. I didn't leave until noon. So keep timing in mind. Otherwise the doctor and staff were great.

Dr. Nemec is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. My total time in the surgery center was 6 hours and recovery is going well with therapy. He listened to my questions and provided thorough information. I’m pleased with his professionalism!

Real impressed with Dr. Nemec and have a great deal of confidence in him. I have had three foot surgeries plus removal of a plate that was put in, an arthroscopy on my right knee to clean up scar tissue from a previous knee replacement, and a knee replacement on my left knee. No reluctance if I’d have to experience further work by him.

Listens well and has been diligent in finding the root of the problem.

Waited in the waiting room for at least 45-60 minutes and then waited in the room to see the Dr. for a good hour. Very frustrating.

I always have to wait way over an hour for him and then he spends about 3 minutes with me. It takes longer to put a boot on then he spends with his patients.

Gave me options. Treated with injection on the spot so I didn't have to make another appointment to get it done. Feed back to me was good information.

Very good doctor probably overwhelmed trying to schedule too many patients per day sometimes it feels that the wait time is longer than the time that you spent With the physician Sometimes they seem like they’re overwhelmed with work they could be friendly but don’t get them on a bad day my personal experience I believe he found the repair to a problem Rather than fixing it leaving the doors open for future intervention

Waited 2 hours for a 5 minute appointment. My mother was in the room with me and he was staring and talking to her as if she were the patient. The only time I felt acknowledged was when he gave me an injection in my ankle.
