Dr. Scott Nemec joined Bay Street Orthopeadics in 2009. Dr. Nemec specializes in foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction. Dr. Nemec graduated from Michigan State University College of osteopathic Medicine in 2003 as a member of Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Honor Society. He did his internship and residency at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing. He completed fellowship in complex foot and ankle reconstruction at Orthopedic Associates of Michigan in Grand Rapids. Dr. Nemec is currently on staff at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey, McLaren Northern Michigan-Cheboygan Campus in Cheboygan, and Charlevoix Area Hospital in Charlevoix.
He enjoys fly fishing and fly tying, boating and skiing. He lives in Petoskey with his family.

Dr Nemec impressed me as a dedicated, knowledgeable practitioner! Very pleased with his service. My foot pain has disappeared..,at least for now-steroid injection seems to be working. Dr Nemec’s Nurse was also professional. & provided support, answering every question I had
