I left feeling better physically, and well informed of diagnosis and prognosis.. I really felt like Dr Muffly listened to my concerns and was very clear when addressing them. Also, I felt like he exuded confidence and skilled knowledge. These are traits you want in a surgeon discussing your surgery with you. He made me feel comfortable and not nervous at all thinking about I will soon have surgery. I'm glad I went to see him. "God bless you, Dr Muffly", and thank you!

He is skilled in both the direct anterior and posterior approaches for total hip replacement, and has a particular interest in outpatient total joint replacement. Additionally, he has advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of failed and/or painful total joint replacements, including revision total hip and knee surgery.
Dr. Muffly's passion for orthopedics and total joint replacement stems from the privilege of developing long-term relationships with patients as he assists them with returning to the activities they once enjoyed. Having been an orthopedic patient himself, he understands the desire to regain an active lifestyle and finds joy and fulfillment in helping his patients achieve their goals.
