I just feel that Dr Mox listens to a point but doesn’t fully listen to me. As I am almost 70 I kinda know how my body/system reacts to things like pain killers. As many times as he was told I got the feeling from him that he thinks he knows more about painkillers and how I react to them better than I do. I don’t feel like he truly listens to what I have experienced and thinks that I’m wrong about my experiences and he doesn’t care what I think.

I had shoulder surgery by Dr. Mox last week. His bedside manner is great, and he explains things very well, and listens to what you have to say.

Cares about his patients, he gives you time to ask all the questions you need to. My knees are doing great.

He did a reverse shoulder replacement and total knee replacement. I was climbing stairs on my own within a few hours of my new knee.. He is the very best surgeon! Both were almost painless. Most days I can't even tell I have anew shoulder.

I am so happy with the (2) knee replacement surgeries performed by Dr. Mox. My left knee was done last year and I just had my right knee completed 2 weeks ago. Had a full recovery plan for my 9yr old including a full cast from her knee down, until he realized the what insurance we have. All in a sudden my child with a broken ankle and tibia was “ok” to go home on a sling, “because the ER did a great job putting it on” When I started questioning he turned around and on the way to the door he tells me.. “well I can send you to another clinic the get a cast”. All I was able to to say was ok before he walked out.

I didn't get to meet the doctor because he was in surgery and nobody bothered to call and ask if I'd like to reschedule. His PA was sent in instead and I am NOT happy. If I'm going to discuss joint replacement I do not want to deal with a NON doctor. I hear good things about Dr. Mox from friends do it's really a bunch of nonsense that Ortho Illinois not notify me of his unavailability of that they want a review on a doctor I didn't get to see

He takes care of me when I have any problems. I think medicine of prednisone is not good and it can cause to affect to my body and I am not trust.

I give Dr. Mox 5 stars he is a great surgeon. I had a bilateral hip replacement. 1 in June and 1 in July. I am pain free, no more restless nights, off of all pain meds, and back to bowling.

Everything has been perfect!!! Dr. Thomas is bright yet crazy enough to deal with patients...me in particular. My only concern is that I've only met Dr. Mox twice & I still wouldn't kno him in person. I will insist that we finally have an appointment where we 'talk'.

Dr Mox may just be the best orthopedic surgeon in the fox valley area. He is kind with a great personality and a staff that is second to none.

when I mentioned an MRI request instead of physical therapy do to having intense pain he was immediately bothered and walked out in the middle of me speaking. Simply rude & unprofessional. Requesting a different ortho.

I found him a little pompous. I gave him symptoms and felt he wasn't interested until I gave the symptom he was looking for. Surgery went well but only saw his PA after surgery

He was rude, arrogant, and spoke to me like I was a child instead of a 41 year old mom. We will NOT be returning for my sons follow up appointment and won’t be back to ortho Illinois.
