Scott and his wife Penny, who is a local Anesthesiologist, have loved calling Colorado Springs home since 2004. They have two very active and adventurous children. He is active with the local medical community and is a member of First Presbyterian Church and the AdAmAn hiking club. He is also an avid Broncos and Kansas Jayhawks fan.

Very friendly, and knowledgeabl
Dr. Smetana is always friendly and very thorough! He answers all my questions and takes his time explaining status and what to expect moving forward.
I have held off to comment on Dr Smetana until actually starting my laser adjustments on the light adjustable lens. He has always been very professional and has given me good direction to help make my decisions, but the ultimate success depends on what my vision is like. After my first laser adjustment I have seen a huge difference. I believe I still have some adjustments that can help my vision even further, which is even more encouraging

Good but Does not give the patient a chance to ask questions?
Had my eyes dialate. Burned like hell, never happened before. I asked why? Was told they numb them for certain procedures. I suggested they reinstate that practice. Figured a 2 step process took more time, thus eliminate it providing more patients per hour.
Dr Scott had the unusual behavior of interrupting every sentence I tried to speak. Every one.
