Scott and his wife Penny, who is a local Anesthesiologist, have loved calling Colorado Springs home since 2004. They have two very active and adventurous children. He is active with the local medical community and is a member of First Presbyterian Church and the AdAmAn hiking club. He is also an avid Broncos and Kansas Jayhawks fan.

Scott has protected my eye health in my later years
I've used Dr. Smetana for years and think he's great. Personable, for sure, but I'm diabetic, and he takes excellent care of my eyes. Very knowledgable doctor, and I'm glad to have him as my doctor.
