After knowing him for 2 years we are finally building a relationship. We used to call him Dr Jerk-an-sen because he was so unfriendly and so cocky. He is much nicer now so I'm not looking for another Doctor.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and his doctorate at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, where he also completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship.
Dr. Joransen has practiced cardiology in Meridian since 2003 and has also worked as a staff instructor in internal medicine at G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center. He has also spent time doing mission work in Papua, New Guinea.
