Dr. Joransen seems very knowledgeable in his profession. Gets right to the point, doesn’t waste time, discusses your information, when finished he’s gone! Not overly personable, which is ok, everyone has different personalities, but he is polite and knows his business. I would definitely recommend him for vein procedures.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and his doctorate at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, where he also completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship.
Dr. Joransen has practiced cardiology in Meridian since 2003 and has also worked as a staff instructor in internal medicine at G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center. He has also spent time doing mission work in Papua, New Guinea.
