Dr. Scott E. Hormel, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training in knee and shoulder surgery. He then finished his fellowship at Stedman-Hawkins Clinic and Sports Medicine Research Foundation, Vail, CO. His practice is focused on the surgical treatment of injuries and sports-related conditions of the knee and shoulder. His goal is to return athletes and recreational athletics back to full athletic participation using both surgical and rehabilitative methods.
Dr. Hormel is a native of Bellevue, Washington. He has practiced for over 15 years with Orthopedic Physician Associates. He and his wife Shari have 4 children. He enjoys skiing, golf, woodworking and architecture. Dr. Hormel stays very active and involved in baseball and fast-pitch softball, coaching and helping to prevent and repair athletic injuries.

I always receive top notch care from Dr. Hormel. I have seen him for years and will continue to seek his care as needed.
I had X-ray, exam, instruction about exercises I should do, as well as prescription for PT, should I want to do it. The plan is, if pain in my knee continues, after 2 months, I should come back to see Dr. Hormel, and I would have a bone scan and cortisone shot. An excellent appointment !
