Charming as always. I feel l was not taken seriously when I expressed my concerns about the pain I experiencing. I don’t need any medication from him. Come back in 8 months for a xray does not mean anything. I really feel something is wrong with the knee. I am being forced to seek additional medical attention.

Dr. Hormel has performed 3 surgeries on me: 2014 meniscus tear repair and 2025 knee replacements (March and November). I can't say enough good things about my experience with him, the surgeries, my recoveries, and the whole OPAOrtho staff. I highly recommend him for anyone in need of knee and related surgeries.

Such a caring doctor! He reminded me he did his best with my surgery, and that my recovery is mostly "my side" of the equation--so I need to do my best, too! What an important reminder to be an active participant in your best outcome! A great recovery requires everyone giving it 100%. Cheers, Dr. Hormel!

Dr. Hormel and his team have performed TKA (Knee Replacement) on both my knees during the fourth quarter of 2025. Having followed his instructions for restoration of range of motion I am well on my way to a full recovery just six weeks out of surgery. I strongly recommend Dr. Hormel for TKA and say this without taking a breath. Thank you Dr. Hormel!

Super smooth appointment process. I was seen right away. I felt Dr Hormel asked direct questions, gave a thorough assessment and left me with a good idea of what could possibly be going on with my knee.
