I showed up 1 1/2 hours early (victim of the ferry system) and Dr. Hormel saw within 5 minutes and back on the ferry by 1:30. He was very clear and informative. A true professional.

Dr. Hormel earned his medical degree at University of Washington School of Medicine, and completed his residency at University of Washington Department of Orthopedics. He then finished his fellowship at Stedman-Hawkins Clinic and Sports Medicine Research Foundation, Vail, CO. His practice is focused on the surgical treatment of injuries and sports-related conditions of the knee and shoulder. His goal is to return athletes and recreational athletics back to full athletic participation using both surgical and rehabilitative methods.
Dr. Hormel is a native of Bellevue, Washington. He has practiced for over 15 years with Orthopedic Physician Associates. He and his wife Shari have 4 children. He enjoys skiing, golf, woodworking and architecture. Dr. Hormel stays very active and involved in baseball and fast-pitch softball, coaching and helping to prevent and repair athletic injuries.
