Dr. Scott E. Hormel, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training in knee and shoulder surgery. His practice is focused on the surgical treatment of injuries and sports-related conditions of the knee and shoulder. His goal is to return athletes and recreational athletics back to full athletic participation using both surgical and rehabilitative methods.
Dr. Hormel is a native of Bellevue, Washington. He has practiced for over 15 years with Orthopedic Physician Associates. He and his wife Shari have 4 children. He enjoys skiing, golf, woodworking and architecture. Dr. Hormel stays very active and involved in baseball and fast-pitch softball, coaching and helping to prevent and repair athletic injuries.
Dr. Hormel’s expertise is in: Knee and shoulder arthroscopy and reconstruction, sports injuries, knee replacements, cartilage regeneration and meniscal preservation.
The Doc is fantastic and practice extremely well organized. All staff very competent.

I saw Dr. Hormel for knee pain that made it difficult to do long walk. From my first visit, the entire staff was welcoming and organized. Dr.Hormel took the time to thoroughly review my imaging, explain the cause of my discomfort, and discuss surgical treatments without making me feel rushed.
