Dr. Scott Greder, OD is a comprehensive optometrist who specializes in routine and problem-focused eye examinations, pediatric eye care, urgent eye care, and pre- and post-operative examinations.
A Nebraska native, Dr. Greder was raised in North Platte. He received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and his doctor of optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. While at Illinois College, Dr. Greder completed externships at the Veterans Administration Outpatient Center in Tallahassee, Florida and Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha. Dr. Greder joined Midwest Eye Care in 1999.
Dr. Greder is licensed for the practice of optometry by the state examining boards of Nebraska and Iowa. He is a member of both the Nebraska Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He was elected president of the Nebraska Optometric Association for the 2017-2019 term. Dr. Greder provides volunteer services for the annual Mission Cataract program, the Hope Medical Outreach Coalition, the Nebraska Optometric Association “See to Learn” program, and the “Opening Eyes” program at the Nebraska Special Olympics.

I believe the only reason people keep coming back to this office is that they are elderly and have no other option or alternative that they can easily switch to. I’ve only probably left 2 to 3 reviews on items before my life but this one feels extremely warranted.
Dr Greder is very thorough and explain everything so that u understand. I appreciate how he doesn’t have you sitting in the room and gets you in and out! I love Midwest Eye care and its Staff!
