Dr. Scott Greder, OD is a comprehensive optometrist who specializes in routine and problem-focused eye examinations, pediatric eye care, urgent eye care, and pre- and post-operative examinations.
A Nebraska native, Dr. Greder was raised in North Platte. He received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and his doctor of optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. While at Illinois College, Dr. Greder completed externships at the Veterans Administration Outpatient Center in Tallahassee, Florida and Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha. Dr. Greder joined Midwest Eye Care in 1999.
Dr. Greder is licensed for the practice of optometry by the state examining boards of Nebraska and Iowa. He is a member of both the Nebraska Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He was elected president of the Nebraska Optometric Association for the 2017-2019 term. Dr. Greder provides volunteer services for the annual Mission Cataract program, the Hope Medical Outreach Coalition, the Nebraska Optometric Association “See to Learn” program, and the “Opening Eyes” program at the Nebraska Special Olympics.

I went to see Dr Greder to make sure my eyes were healthy because I was experiencing some vertigo and wanted to start somewhere. He was good at listening and recommending what I should do next. I really appreciated the time he took and would recommend him to anyone looking for an eye doctor.
Dr Greder always answers my questions and he gives very practical advice for reading options.
Dr. Greder & Mr. Mike was great & stayed after hours to look at my eyes and make sure they were okay! I’d recommend them to anyone(:
