As a child, Dr. Glenzer enjoyed biology, physiology and anatomy, so he found himself drawn to the orthopaedic surgery field of medicine because it offers the perfect blend of these sciences.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Alabama, also going on to earn his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed his residency in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of South Alabama before going on to receive fellowship training in the hand and upper extremity at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Glenzer is defined by his unwavering dedication to his patients, as well as his drive for excellence in his profession. His background in research and management has strengthened his ability to provide quality patient care. As a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. Glenzer prides himself on staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in his field. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, severe weather, and spending time with his fiancée, family, and friends.

Wonderful doctor and staff
Dr Genzer is always personable, gives full explanation - X-rays, healing, recovery, prescriptions, answers all questions. Follow up visits scheduled before leaving.
First time seeing him he was very professional, I will see him again on the 8th!!!

Scott was great. Answered all my questions and gave me several options. Only complaint I have is that I was there too long.
We were able to get in same day, quick X-rays and Scott was very nice explaining things to my daughter.

Great appointment with Dr. Glenzer today. Dr. Glenzer is very knowledgeable, listens to you attentively, and gives very helpful information to alleviate pain (re: arthritis, etc). Dr. Glenzer doesn’t rush through visit! Dr. Glenzer is very personable, and he is truly interested in your health!
Compassionate, listens to my concerns
He was very punctual, understood what I was going through with my hands, he was polite and understanding. He ordered medication first to see if the meda work, and then what he may do if it didn't work. Thank you Dr. Glenzer for helping me.
