He was knowledgeable but often dismissive he asked what symptoms brought me in and when I tried to give him a short list he talked over me he later claimed I was all over the place. When I said my GP changed my meds for fear of liver damage he said that my liver was fine. He said that the alternative medicine did nothing and asked why I would want to stay on that. I left feeling I had been in a boxing ring. Even my husband who wanted to be there commented that I held my own. That should not be a result of a consultation. On 2 different occasions I had to tell him to stop and listen because I was not done speaking
My GP insisted I see a cardiologist. I made an appointment with my husband’s who is excellent but the earliest date I could get was May. The heart house was recommended by my GP because he said he needed me to see a cardiologist well before May. As soon as I get in to see my preferred doctor I will not return. In the meantime I will follow Dr Fertel’s directions.

Doctor Fertels has the best bedside manner and is very attentive. He explained everything clearly and gave a concise reason why a test is needed. I will be recommending Doctor Fertels to friends, family and coworkers.
