I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in healthcare. I am originally from Rockford, Illinois and I earned my B.S. degree in bioengineering with a chemistry minor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1998. I continued my studies at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, graduating with honors in 2002.
Following my graduation, I completed an internship and pursued advanced orthopedic training as part of my surgical residency at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, N.C. In addition, I completed another year at a subspecialty training program, or fellowship, in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
My practice is focused on providing specialized health care to children and teens who have orthopedic conditions resulting from traumatic injuries, congenital deformities, and neuromuscular conditions, as well as general orthopedic care for adults. I have a special interest in sports injuries, pediatric fracture care, congenital deformities, clubfeet, pediatric hip and foot conditions.

Dr Ferry is easy to talk to and easy to understand. He takes into account your life and makes choices for your health based on the patients needs.
Dr. Ferry is an outstanding dr. He is easy to talk to, relates to the patient, and gives top notch care. We are so grateful his office got my daughter in the same day due to a sports injury. We won’t go anywhere else for orthopedic care!
Dr Ferry was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.
Dr. Ferry is amazing as usual. Very knowledgeable in his craft. Attentive to patient needs. Communicates well during appointments and listens to concerns. He takes practical approaches to treatment that best suit the issue.
I actually did not get to see Dr Ferry due to him taking extra time with another patient. I appreciate the fact that he was willing to answer someone's concerns. He sent another surgeon to my appointment room and we chatted. He answered all my questions and reassured he as to my progress. Very thoughtful.
We didn’t actually get to see Dr. Ferry. He was too busy, so we saw a PA instead. A little disappointing.
