I have never had a good experience with my injections it is so painful although I am told I get medication for discomfort prior to my injection it NEVER WORKS but nobody care just move on and see you the next time! He is the only gig in town so I don’t have many choices but to return to this office for care

His pleasant manner, skill, and professionalism were excellent. The only thing I felt might be addressed is the time spent waiting in the examination room. It’s understandable when there are emergencies that arise, but that could be addressed by one of the 4-5 people chatting in the hallway simply advising that an emergency is the hold up. A prolonged wait of 30 minutes in the exam room seems excessive to me.unless there is an emergency or extenuating circumstance. This might seem petty but when you are have more than one appointment that day and you’ve scheduled this appointment in between and you’re still waiting 45 minutes after your appointment time ….? Time is important to both the patient and the doctor.
Other than this issue I would definitely refer others to Dr.Pendergast.

He did not follow instructions on my chart about numbing my eye due to nerve damage. This caused me to jerk with pain when he stuck needle in.
Gave me wrong medicine.. I was approved for Eylea and they didn't check till after they gave me Avastin.
