Helpful Explaining it very good.

Came in with chronic knee pain and leg weakness making very difficult to work, walk, or sometimes get out of bed. All he did was arthritis medication and therapy, after telling him therapy does not help with any of it.

I got the feeling that my hip was not injured enough and that I was wasting the Doctor's time. I was referred by my family doctor based on a CT scan.

Walked in and asked ‘what can I do for you?’. X-ray on the screen, multiple papers filled out with my mother’s symptoms etc. Very condescending. Worst bedside manner I’ve encountered in my life. Asked us what tx we've tried for her knee, twice. We had to tell him twice ‘this is it. We were referred to YOU’. Was told by her GP the space b/t her knee joint was still looking good! He didn’t like to be told that, said nope.. doesn’t matter it’s in the back, needs a knee replacement. (Maybe get a diagram out or model to show the anatomy for which you’re speaking of?) Got her a cortisone shot for short term relief at least. But do not plan on following up w this inconsiderate, ego driven man!

He's good, but he should retire. That is what Scott said he is planning on doing next month. Hope he enjoys his retirement.

Informational. Dr. Bigelow took all the time I needed to answer questions. Surgery is always a big deal to me and I feel he is knowledgeable and trustworthy and willing to do what is best for me. I appreciate the past surgery he performed for me. It greatly improved my life.
