Dr. Martin is the best, very personable and professional. He is great at his job that's why I am returning for a second surgery after 20 years. Dr. Martin's staff is also wonderful- nurses are great!

Originally from West Texas, just east of El Paso, Dr. Scot A. Martin grew up in a small town where his family has been involved in farming for generations. He initially attended Texas Tech for college but soon transferred to Austin College in Sherman, Texas. It was there that he decided to pursue a career in medicine. In 1989, he was accepted into the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Following this, he completed a five-year General Surgery Residency at the University of Oklahoma.
Between his second and third years of residency, Dr. Martin was invited to conduct a year of surgical research at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he authored numerous articles and a major book chapter. He then completed a full Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham under the mentorship of Dr. Luis O. Vasconez, a world-renowned plastic surgeon known for developing procedures used by plastic surgeons globally.
