I’ve never even met this Dr. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy but was not given all the info needed to stop a current medication. After rescheduling the original date, due to her having surgery, I did all the necessary prep according to paperwork given to me. The day of the procedure after arriving 15 min early, I was take back 30 min past my appointment time. Over an hour later I was told by the RN that I couldn’t have the procedure due to not stopping a medication for my diabetes. I was never told to stop this med only to stop my aspirin. The RNA, came in and said he would do an ultrasound to see if there was food in my stomach because of my Gastropharesis. He said there was food and that it would flow back up into my lungs if I was put under. They sent me home.

I was totally impressed with Dr. Oberste’s care and concern about my health. Excellent people skills and made me feel very comfortable about my upcoming procedure.
