She earned her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed her residency at UMC in Las Vegas.

Dr. Sarah Newton, M.D., has devoted her career to providing exceptional obstetrics and gynecology care with over 25 years of private practice experience. After earning her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, she completed her residency at UMC in Las Vegas, where she gained comprehensive experience in both outpatient and surgical OB/GYN care.
Dr. Newton served in the United States Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base, where her dedication to expanding OB/GYN services saved over $250,000 in civilian medical costs, earning her a Meritorious Service Medal. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Her commitment to education was recognized with a student teaching award during her residency.
Dr. Newton believes in the importance of continuity of care and takes pride in fostering long-term relationships with her patients, often treating multiple generations within the same family. She is passionate about promoting preventative care, especially encouraging vaccinations, and is dedicated to addressing healthcare misinformation.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Newton enjoys reading, crocheting, quilting, and gardening. She values time spent with her husband of 35 years and regularly travels to visit her adult sons in Seattle and Reno, as well as to her family property in Western Montana.
