Everything was great except when I checked out. The lady that checked me out as I was leaving was sitting very low in her chair with her computer screen angled where I couldn’t hardly see her plus she was talking very low- I wasn’t even sure she was talking to me. The main thing though was that she didn’t explain any of the charges that I was responsible for and what Medicare would be paying. I had to ask her for an itemized receipt which didn’t help because it’s not even clear what I paid for out of my pocket. I felt like she just wanted me to pay whatever she said and leave asap. I have no idea what I paid over $200 for today.

Doctor Sara Suttle was great. She had a great bedside manner and was willing to spend time with me to be sure all was good. Somehow her staff misunderstood the request for TWO pair of orthopedic shoe inserts. Only one was ordered, unbeknownst to me. This was not realized until we returned to pick up our orthopedic shoe inserts. I received an apology for the inconvenience and the second pair was ordered. After a few months of not hearing back from the office, I reached out. I learned the orthopedic shoe inserts had been at the office for a month. No explanation as to how this could occur, was given. To add insult to injury, we showed up the day I was told we could pick up the orthopedic shoe inserts and it appears they created an office visit for the pick up. I understand there is a five dollar outstanding charge on an account. This is not acceptable at all. I can’t stress enough, Doctor Sara Suttle handled my visit and answered questions. It is the practice that messed this up.

Overall, initial visit went well but I did have to wait in the exam room for 45 minutes with zero explanation. Just unacceptable! My time is equally valuable as well. As a result, I had to reschedule a work meeting at the last minute. What would have made it better was if someone would have simply stopped by to say the doctor is running behind and we sincerely apologize. At least acknowledge it, makes the wait more tolerable. I did like Dr. Suttle and felt like she was very knowledgeable and personable. I do plan to return for a follow up. If I have a similar experience on super long wait times, I’ll likely not return.
