Dr. Bijan is an expert in the diagnosis and management of cornea and external diseases, including Keratoconus, Fuchs’ Dystrophy, dry
eye disease, and infectious diseases of the cornea. She employs the latest techniques to restore vision to her patients, including corneal transplantation (DMEK, DSAEK, and PKP), corneal crosslinking, pterygium removal, and amniotic membrane transplantation.
Dr. Bijan is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Women in Ophthalmology.

I have to be frank & honest here. This. was my once-a-year vision wellness exam, full optic nerve shots & dilated pupils… also, my first visit with Dr. Bijan after Dr. Liss‘ departure; but I really did not feel a solid, honest rapport with Dr Bijan— as I had with Dr Liss….. sorry, but she seemed distracted and distant, not directly looking me the eyes as I voiced what to me were vital concerns about my vision. I had just had a very solid & rewarding/ professional optical exam with Jill, & this was my follow through part of the exam with the ophthalmologist.
