She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine. She did her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas.
Dr. Michaels performs women’s health care with a strong emphasis on prevention and wellness. When a patient encounters a gynecologic need, she develops a customized treatment plan to address the issue and promote optimal health. Patient education is central to her practice, and she ensures that each woman is fully aware of the pros and cons of all treatment paths before making a decision.
