Dr. Saovaros V. Michaels, M.D., FACOG, offers an impressive combination of advanced medical skills and a caring, compassionate nature to her patients at The Ob-Gyn Center in Las Vegas. Many women of all ages turn to her for care and wouldn’t consider entrusting another OB/GYN with their women’s health needs.
Education has always been a central focus for Dr. Michaels. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine. She did her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas.
Dr. Michaels performs women’s health care with a strong emphasis on prevention and wellness. When a patient encounters a gynecologic need, she develops a customized treatment plan to address the issue and promote optimal health. Patient education is central to her practice, and she ensures that each woman is fully aware of the pros and cons of all treatment paths before making a decision.
Minimally invasive surgery is an area of focus for Dr. Michaels, and she is highly skilled at leveraging today’s advanced medical technology to improve patient outcomes and speed the healing process. When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Michaels spends time with friends and family, including her two young daughters. She also loves to travel and cook during her free time.
Dr. Michaels made sure all my concerns were addressed. I feel more comfortable and confident with the progress of my last month before due date.
I drove 2 hours for viisit, when I arrived my results were not at office. I didn't realize it was my responsibility to make sure my results had been received at the office. This was very disappointing. They wanted to charge me for reading blood results, that I had already received. After reading the blood results she said to follow up with my primary care Dr for more support. Overall this visit was a waste of time.
