I didn’t want to give him this rating but I didn’t have a choice. He greeted me when he came in, so I felt good. But then it changed. Maybe I need to advocate for myself and ask questions, but he didn’t explain to me my MRI results. I have to ask where it is and how big it is and the nurse practitioner observing him answered for me. I was trying to explain all my symptoms. I tried but he kept saying “no.” He kept emphasizing that it wasn’t the meningioma in my head that’s causing the aches and pains or pressure I’m feeling. When he kept saying no, I shut down. He further explained that I’m not going to die. Which I know that, and I let him know as well. He said my tumor is the same size from my last MRI. Great, but I felt that I couldn’t ask him anything, couldn’t share all my symptoms. He recommended seeing an ENT. And a follow-up in 3-6 months but not with him with someone else. I don’t think I want to go back to this place.

He was nice enough, but didn’t seem prepared even after coming into the exam room 40 mins after the scheduled appointment time. He still had to sort through the file and his computer before discussing MRI results and asking questions.

Very long wait to see him, and was not directly addressed for about 10 minutes of the time he was initially in the room.
