Blocked eustacian tube. Advised me to see a dentist.* Poor physical exam on salivary glands. About 7 minutes in exam room.
*I believe the eustacian tube shares a certain part of the hearing function.

Dr. Sanjeev Shah, M.D., is a native Houstonian who was raised in Sugar Land, TX.
In 2006, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from William P. Clements High School just down the road from our Sugar Land office. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and graduated with High Honors in 2010. From there, he moved to Dallas, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2014. In 2019, he completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. While he grew to love the Florida life, he could not resist the urge to return to his home state.
Dr. Shah believes that the art of medicine lies not only in being knowledgeable and skilled, but also in engaging patients in their medical decision making by educating them in ways that are informative and easy to understand. He enjoys spending time communicating with and listening to his patients as well as establishing interpersonal relationships. He also feels that patients deserve a physician who will be honest, respectful, and transparent.
Dr. Shah is interested in the medical and surgical care of a wide variety of ENT conditions in adults and children.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with his wife Palak, a native Texan and pediatrician in the Houston area, as well as his family and friends. He and his wife love to travel, try new restaurants, play board games, and watch movies. He stays active through basketball, biking, swimming, and hiking. He is also a car enthusiast as well as an avid supporter of the Houston Rockets and Houston Texans.
