Sanjay Bhargava, MD, FACC, FSCAI

Dr. Sanjay Bhargava, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a highly accomplished interventional cardiologist with board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Interventional Cardiology. His clinical expertise encompasses a broad range of advanced cardiac procedures including cardiac catheterization, coronary stenting, angioplasty, intravascular imaging techniques such as IVUS and FFR, and complex peripheral interventions like laser and rotational atherectomy. He also has specialized training in myocardial SPECT imaging, echocardiography (including transesophageal), Holter monitoring, and cardioversion.

Dr. Bhargava completed his Internal Medicine residency at New York Medical College (1997–2000), followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers of New York (2000–2003). He then pursued advanced training in Interventional Cardiology at Albert Einstein Medical Center (2004–2005). He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in multiple disciplines and holds a full license in Nuclear Cardiology.

As a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, Dr. Bhargava is deeply involved in the advancement of cardiovascular care. He is also ACLS certified, underscoring his commitment to providing the highest level of emergency cardiac care.
