I wish I could give Dr. Gupta more than five stars! I was suffering from excruciating arthritis pain while I was a patient in another rheumatology practice. My previous doctor said there was nothing else that could be done for me. I thank God that my wife researched and found Dr. Gupta. After my initial visit, he suggested a different treatment plan that has helped me tremendously. I am so thankful to have him now as my rheumatologist. He is excellent.

I was seen by Dr. Gupta for follow up on abnormal lab results with persistent joint pain, rash, inflammation, and fatigue that has significantly reduced my functioning/quality of life for the last 3 years. At my first appointment, he ran down a list of symptoms but did not evaluate the severity, frequency, and impact. My follow up appointment included him circling numbers on my updated labs, minimizing values that were flagged as abnormal without explaining why this would be, and giggling to himself behind the computer when I started to cry. He seemed more interested in the physical signs I could show him (raynauds— which is not something that reduces my ability to function or causes pain) than of any other symptom I explained. He made sure to ask if I took pain relievers (Advil/tylenol/ibuprofen) in the most condescending way; as if this was a solution. He ended by saying how grateful I should be to have mostly normal bloodwork. I suggest additional person centered training.
