He recognized quickly that The syncope that I was having were serious. He quickly referred me to Dr. Singh, who was in the building that day. Dr. Singh consulted and said that I needed a PE procedure to determine if I needed a defibrillator or a pacemaker. Dr. Singh scheduled me for the next day, And I checked into Terrebonne General outpatient admissions. The next day, April 19, he performed the AP procedure and determined that I needed a pacemaker which was installed the same day. Dr. Patel’s concern was for to me wear a Holter monitor for 48 hours, which showed a three-second pause in my heartbeat, which likely caused the syncope. I am grateful to both Dr. Patel and Dr. Singh for being here that day. Thank you to both of them
