He has settled in Atlanta as the co-founder of Atlanta Heart Specialists.
Dr. Chandra holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology.
Throughout his career, he has been involved with community service programs, including tutoring for Magnet schools in the New York area, as well as volunteering his time to area free clinics in Rhode Island and Atlanta. He has regularly published articles in local health forums and periodicals. He has been a featured consultant and lecturer on many cardiovascular disease topics, including cardiovascular disease in women and the relationship of stress on the heart.
Dr. Chandra performs cardiac catheterization, diagnostic peripheral arteriography, echocardiography and nuclear stress test interpretation and consultation.
His clinical interests include preventive cardiology and lipid management, metabolic disorders, and nuclear cardiology.
He personally enjoys skiing, hiking, kayaking, computer applications and music.

Dr. Chandra is truly the best cardiologist in Georgia. I never mind waiting for him because once he comes in, he takes the time to really listen to his patients and carefully determine the right course of care. He doesn’t just offer a quick fix, he provides solutions that genuinely improve quality of life. I highly recommend Dr. Chandra to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough cardiologist.
