He has settled in Atlanta as the co-founder of Atlanta Heart Specialists.
Dr. Chandra holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology.
Throughout his career, he has been involved with community service programs, including tutoring for Magnet schools in the New York area, as well as volunteering his time to area free clinics in Rhode Island and Atlanta. He has regularly published articles in local health forums and periodicals. He has been a featured consultant and lecturer on many cardiovascular disease topics, including cardiovascular disease in women and the relationship of stress on the heart.
Dr. Chandra performs cardiac catheterization, diagnostic peripheral arteriography, echocardiography and nuclear stress test interpretation and consultation.
His clinical interests include preventive cardiology and lipid management, metabolic disorders, and nuclear cardiology.
He personally enjoys skiing, hiking, kayaking, computer applications and music.

I met with the NP Anna, and I thought she was terrific! Very easy to talk with and she would seem to be very trustworthy.

PA consult is fine but prefer meeting with Dr Chandra
Dr. Chandra is our favorite doctor we have ever had! We have 3 family members who have all gone to him because we think he is the best and we keep referring him to all of our family members.
Dr. Chandra is the finest cardiologist in knowledge & technical skills, as well as sincere caring for his patients I have ever known. His nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, & clinical staff, as well as front desk staff, are superior. My husband & I are blessed to be his patients!

Saw a different doctor. Looked at the notes from my last visit and told me everything was fine. Did NOT check me out at all!! Dismissed me in less than 5 minutes. Very disappointing!!! I want to see my regular doctor from now on. Not her!!
The staff was exceptionally nice. Made me feel very comfortable because I was VERY nervous. I’d never done anything like this before.
