He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University Program in Providence, RI. During this time, he was awarded with Teaching Resident of the Year.

He has settled in Atlanta as the co-founder of Atlanta Heart Specialists.
Dr. Chandra holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology.
Throughout his career, he has been involved with community service programs, including tutoring for Magnet schools in the New York area, as well as volunteering his time to area free clinics in Rhode Island and Atlanta. He has regularly published articles in local health forums and periodicals. He has been a featured consultant and lecturer on many cardiovascular disease topics, including cardiovascular disease in women and the relationship of stress on the heart.
Dr. Chandra performs cardiac catheterization, diagnostic peripheral arteriography, echocardiography and nuclear stress test interpretation and consultation.
His clinical interests include preventive cardiology and lipid management, metabolic disorders, and nuclear cardiology.
He personally enjoys skiing, hiking, kayaking, computer applications and music.

you won't find a more thorough cardiologist you definitely will love his bedside manner he cares deeply for his patients and does everything he can to keep you moving and and not having to sit back for too long of a Time and I'm so glad that I got this chance to say a few words about this doctor his whole group
