Dr. Samuel Thomas, D.O., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who is excited to join Advanced Orthopedic Center. He is dedicated to providing expert, patient-centered care and treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, trauma, and joint replacements.
Dr. Thomas has been practicing orthopedic surgery since 2019 and has been serving patients locally in Florida, including Sarasota and Manatee counties, since 2021.
Originally from upstate New York, he earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, widely regarded as the birthplace of sports medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Thomas enjoys working out, playing basketball, golfing, traveling, snowboarding, playing with his two dogs, and spending time with his son and beautiful wife.

Strongly recommend! I had an injection into my foot . He got right the amd zero pain ! Very knowledgeable and confident!
Dr. Thomas was very good at explaining my problem and the options to fix it. He was friendly and obviously cares about his patients. I feel very comfortable with Dr Thomas as my doctor.
He was very thorough and explained my hip situation and eased my fears and assured me that nothing serious was wrong. Also advised me of future treatments if I so choose. Excellent doctor.

I thought he was awesome. He listened to me and was very knowledgeable of my hand issues. I have complete faith that he will help me with the numbness in my left hand. I wish more Doctors were like him.
