Dr. Samuel Thomas, D.O., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who is excited to join Advanced Orthopedic Center. He is dedicated to providing expert, patient-centered care and treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, trauma, and joint replacements.
Dr. Thomas has been practicing orthopedic surgery since 2019 and has been serving patients locally in Florida, including Sarasota and Manatee counties, since 2021.
Originally from upstate New York, he earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, widely regarded as the birthplace of sports medicine.

I was happy with Dr Thomas, he listened to my knee injury and my pain. He gave my knee an injection and I can follow up on 3 months.
I’ve been getting Cortizone shots for six years, this was the most gentle one I ever had. he also gave me some very good information.
