Dr. Samuel Asanad, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgical specialist with a distinguished academic and clinical background. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), earning top honors as one of the leading students in his class. He then attended the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine on a full scholarship through the prestigious Leaders of Tomorrow program, awarded to individuals demonstrating exceptional academic achievement and leadership potential. Dr. Asanad completed his ophthalmology residency in Baltimore at the University of Maryland,
where he developed a strong foundation in both clinical care and research.
