Dr. Samuel Mirrop has been practicing general pediatrics at Pediatric Associates of Austin for more than twenty years. After completing his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Mirrop went to medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He then completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of California at Davis. Following his residency program, Dr. Mirrop served as UC Davis’ Chief Resident of Pediatrics for a year before coming back to Austin.
Today, Dr. Mirrop is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Since joining Pediatric Associates of Austin in 1994, Dr. Mirrop has had a wide impact on the medical community in Austin. He has served on the following organizations and committees:

He’s always so sweet, kind, empathic and thorough. We love him! He’s just as sweet as he was when I was a kid!
Dr. Mirrop is professional, funny, and great with our son! I am medical but my husband is not. He did a wonderful job at explaining Things to my husband in a way that he could understand without the use of medical jargon. He’s super knowledgeable and made us feel open to ask questions. When passing them in the hallway as we were leaving, he asked to make sure we got all set up with our next appointment. We look forward to seeing him again and for him caring for our Son!
