She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in College Station. Dr. Kasim earned her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth.
At Midwestern University, Dr. Kasim completed her residency training in orthopedic surgery followed by advanced Fellowship training in upper extremity at the San Francisco Shoulder, Elbow & Hand Clinic. Dr. Kasim practices general orthopedics and sports medicine with concentrations in shoulder, elbow, and knee problems.
She was named to the Sigma Sigma Phi Honorary Medical Fraternity and has been selected for Cambridge Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare from 2008 to 2015. Dr. Kasim is involved with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and the American Medical Association.
