A proud Florida State University graduate (and loyal Seminole fan), he went on to earn his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowships in General and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Fellow in General Cardiology.

Dr Mehio was great. He listened to my concerns and made suggestions for addressing them. He was funny and made me feel comfortable. It was my first visit. I look forward to seeing him again for my followup.

Dr. Mehio has a special interest in coronary artery disease and complex coronary interventions, as well as heart failure and peripheral vascular disease. He is married with two wonderful children and enjoys traveling and cheering on the Seminoles with his family.
