Dr. Sameen Nooruddin, M.D., was born in Karachi, Pakistan. She moved to British Columbia, Canada, when she was five years old. She finally made it to Dallas, Texas, when she was twelve years old. She graduated cum laude from The University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Child Development. She earned her medical degree at the University Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). During her time at UAMS, the only Level I trauma center in all of Arkansas, she cared for some of the highest-risk obstetric and gynecologic patients throughout the entire state.
Dr. Nooruddin is dedicated to providing comprehensive patient care. She believes in educating her patients and providing them with the tools to allow her patients to make informed decisions about their health. Her clinical interests include comprehensive gynecologic care, including caring for adolescent patients and menopause management, abnormal pap smears, high-risk pregnancies, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She enjoys caring for women throughout all stages in life and creating long-lasting patient relationships.
Outside of work, Dr. Nooruddin enjoys spending time with her husband and their goldendoodle, Murphy. They enjoy traveling, two of their favorite places include Thailand and Spain, skiing, and exploring the Houston food scene!
I absolutely love Dr. Nooruddin! I found her while my husband and I were going through fertility treatments, and I wanted an OB-GYN who I felt comfortable with and could trust. A little over a year later, I saw her again and found out I was pregnant with twins! She made me feel comfortable and supported throughout my entire pregnancy, always taking the time to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. When I was hospitalized due to PPROM, she checked on me daily and helped me feel at ease. She made sure I felt informed, involved, and like I was truly part of the plan every step of the way. She was also so kind to my daughter, who absolutely loves her! That meant so much to me. From navigating a high-risk twin pregnancy to delivering my boys via C-section, I couldn't have asked for a more caring and compassionate doctor. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Nooruddin for the care she provided to me and my babies during such an important chapter of our lives.
I was extremely nervous for my first gyno appointment and had been putting it off for years. Dr. Nooruddin was extremely kind and informative. She explained the entire process to me thoroughly and asked me multiple times throughout if I was okay. She didn't pass judgement at all and was extremely welcoming. I would recommend her 100% and will be using her moving forward.
Dr. Nooruddin is very sweet and makes you feel very comfortable and welcomed from the start. She answers all my questions without judgement and genuinely cares about her patients.
She talk to me not at me. She is knowledgeable what need to be done. She makes and older like feel safe and taken care of. She knows what test I need and she knows what to do
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m incredibly nervous due to previous experiences with IUD’s, and a medical phobia. This makes me a fairly difficult patient in some ways. Dr. Nooruddin has been patient, compassionate, understanding, assertive, and accommodating throughout the time I’ve worked with her over this last year.
